According to a 2015 PISA study, 1 out of 5 students lack the foundation for financial literacy. That is more than 20% of teens who don't have the key skills needed to build wealth in today's economy. Fortune Avenue exists to close the financial literacy gap among youth—especially those from underserved communities—by providing the knowledge, tools, and experiences students need to make confident financial decisions. We believe that financial education is a form of empowerment, and we're committed to making it accessible, engaging, and relevant to teens.
Vision
At Fortune Avenue, our vision is to create a world where every student—no matter their background—has the knowledge and confidence to make smart financial decisions. We believe that understanding money shouldn’t be a privilege, but a basic life skill that all young people deserve. Too often, students graduate without knowing how to budget, invest, save, or plan for their future. Our goal is to change that by making financial literacy easy to understand, fun to learn, and directly connected to real life. We’re working to build a generation of young people who feel empowered, informed, and ready to take control of their future.
