David Huang is a dedicated student and finance enthusiast with a deep passion for expanding access to financial literacy and career opportunities. As the Director of Finance & Fundraising at Fortune Avenue, he manages the organization’s budget, oversees funding for workshops and initiatives, and helps drive strategy for sustainable growth. He also supports fundraising efforts that power Fortune Avenue’s mission and ensure the success of its programs.
Outside of Fortune Avenue, David is the co-host of Gen Z Entrepreneurs, a podcast that shares career stories and business insights to help teens explore their passions. He has accumulated over a hundred hours of community service through various volunteering roles, serves as an officer of Boston Latin School’s DECA chapter, and is an active member of the National Honor Society. David also invests independently through the Fidelity Youth platform, where he has grown his portfolio from $1,000 to nearly $10,000 with a return exceeding 25%.
A first-generation Asian American from a low-income household, David is especially driven to uplift students from underserved backgrounds. He believes that financial education is a vital tool for empowerment and social mobility. Through his leadership, David hopes to help bridge educational gaps and inspire the next generation of financially confident changemakers.
