Saniyah Hicks-Murray is a passionate, motivated, and resourceful student at Boston Latin Academy. She serves as the Director of Media & Communications at Fortune Avenue, where she helps lead outreach efforts and contributes to youth engagement and special projects. She is also the Social Media Lead where she supports content creation and editing for Fortune Avenue's social media. Saniyah brings a strong sense of purpose, detail, and originality to everything she does.
Outside of Fortune Avenue, Saniyah is active in DECA, the Volunteer Club, and her school’s track and volleyball teams. She also mentors younger students, including her siblings and cousins, by helping with schoolwork and encouraging them to stay focused. Her interest in digital creativity led her to start her own small business and support other businesses with marketing and content creation. She also worked as a Live Stream Broadcaster behind the scenes running live-stream production for weekly events, managing multi-camera setups and sound checks to ensure smooth broadcasts.
Saniyah joined Fortune Avenue because she cares deeply about making financial education more accessible to students like herself. She believes that learning about money, credit, and investing early can open doors and help young people build more freedom, confidence, and opportunities for their futures.
